Grain Bags vs. Forage Bags

 The GBSS bag has a unique formula that includes a proprietary resin (plastic) that:

1.)       Keeps better shape!  Since grain is heavier than forage, its weight and the tendency to flow makes the bags try to “pillow out”.  On bags that end up too flat and wide, the roll-up style unloader has a real problem with the sides. 

2.)      Increased side wall strength provides better protection due to possible erroneous over-stretching.

3.)      The higher temperature tolerance of this unique additive allows grain to be bagged at a higher ambient air temperature.  This can be even more valuable if the customer is bagging hot grain coming from a grain dryer.

 If you plan to use a roll-up style unloader, the GBSS bag is a must!  A roll-up style unloader is designed to roll up the bag while unloading.  The hydraulic powered roller pulls on the bag like a tow rope while pulling the unloader and tractor backwards.  The huge amount of pull on the bag is even more increased when using large horsepower tractors.
